Role Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate CAD Trainer with a strong background in Civil Engineering to join our Head Office team in Ranchi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training on industry-standard drafting and design software, developing course curriculums, and mentoring students to ensure they meet professional engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruction & Delivery: Conduct daily classroom and laboratory training sessions for diploma and degree-level Civil Engineering students focusing on 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and structural analysis.
- Curriculum Development: Assist in designing, updating, and structuring training modules, course materials, and practical assignments aligned with current industry standards.
- Student Assessment: Evaluate student progress through practical tests, project reviews, and theoretical exams. Provide constructive feedback to ensure skill mastery.
- Project Mentoring: Guide students through comprehensive capstone projects, ensuring they understand real-world applications of CAD in civil infrastructure, surveying, and structural design.
- Software Management: Ensure all training lab software is functioning properly and assist the IT team with updates and troubleshooting.
- Industry Alignment: Stay up-to-date with the latest civil engineering software updates, design codes, and industry trends to keep the training curriculum relevant.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
- Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience as a CAD Trainer or as a Design Engineer in the civil/construction industry with a strong inclination toward teaching.
- Certifications: Professional certification in AutoCAD or other relevant Autodesk products is highly preferred.
Technical Skills Required
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- Strong working knowledge of civil and structural design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit Architecture/Structure, and STAAD.Pro.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting civil engineering drawings, blueprints, and architectural plans.
- Basic understanding of estimation, costing, and project management tools is an added advantage.
Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to explain complex engineering concepts simply and effectively.
- High level of patience, empathy, and dedication to student success.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
