Job Summary
Pariinfra Industries Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer (PEB) to design and develop Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) structures, steel buildings, industrial sheds, warehouses, factories, and commercial structures. The candidate should have hands-on experience in structural design, detailing, estimation support, and coordination with production and project execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Engineering
- Design PEB structures, industrial buildings, warehouses, factories, and steel structures as per applicable codes and standards.
- Prepare design calculations for primary and secondary steel members.
- Analyse structures for dead load, live load, wind load, crane load, seismic load, and other design parameters.
- Optimize structural designs to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Review architectural and structural drawings received from clients.
Drafting & Detailing
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and shop drawings.
- Generate detailed connection drawings and BOM (Bill of Materials).
- Coordinate with detailing teams for accurate fabrication drawings.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications and project requirements.
Software Skills
- Design and analysis using:
- STAAD Pro
- Tekla Structures
- AutoCAD
- MBS (Metal Building Software) – Preferred
- SAP2000 / ETABS (Added Advantage)
Coordination
- Coordinate with estimation, production, procurement, and project execution teams.
- Resolve design-related queries during fabrication and erection stages.
- Participate in technical discussions with clients, consultants, and architects.
- Support the sales team with preliminary designs and technical proposals.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure designs comply with IS Codes, MBMA, AISC, and relevant international standards.
- Maintain proper design documentation and revision control.
- Conduct design checks and peer reviews.
Qualification
- B. Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- MTech (Structural Engineering) preferred.
Experience
- 2 to 8 years of experience in PEB Design and Steel Structure Design.
- Experience in industrial buildings, warehouses, logistics parks, and commercial steel structures preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of steel structure design and analysis.
- Understanding of IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893, MBMA, and AISC codes.
- Proficiency in STAAD Pro, Tekla Structures, and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of fabrication and erection processes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
