Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM)
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager / Sales Head
Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor and dealer networks, achieving revenue targets, and expanding market presence within an assigned geographical area. The role involves leading a sales team, developing business strategies, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for the assigned territory.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
Team Management
- Lead, coach, and motivate Sales Executives and Territory Sales Officers.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Organize training programs to improve team effectiveness.
Channel Management
- Manage distributors, dealers, and key accounts.
- Ensure adequate stock availability and distribution coverage.
- Resolve channel partner concerns and maintain strong relationships.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers.
- Address customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Increase customer satisfaction and retention.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare sales forecasts and territory plans.
- Analyze sales performance and market data.
- Submit regular sales reports to management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Sales revenue achievement.
- Market share growth.
- New customer acquisition.
- Distributor/dealer productivity.
- Collection and payment recovery.

- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
