Job summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Interior Designer with 20+ years of expertise in luxury residential projects across Delhi NCR. The ideal candidate should possess strong architectural design leadership, in-depth knowledge of construction materials and detailing, and extensive experience in project planning, coordination, and execution. The candidate should be capable of leading multidisciplinary teams, reviewing and analyzing architectural drawings, coordinating with consultants and clients, and ensuring high-quality project delivery from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage luxury residential interior projects from concept development to final execution.
- Prepare, review, and analyze design drawings, BOQs, layouts, and detailed working drawings.
- Guide and mentor junior designers and lead the design team effectively.
- Conduct site visits, resolve execution challenges, and monitor project progress.
- Participate in client presentations, design discussions, and project planning meetings.
- Develop innovative design concepts and detailed interior solutions for luxury residences.
- Prepare and review conceptual layouts, mood boards, space planning, and design presentations.
- Create and supervise detailed working drawings, construction drawings, joinery drawings, and furniture details.
- Review ceiling layouts, flooring patterns, lighting plans, electrical layouts, and customized furniture drawings.
- Coordinate design drawings with architectural, structural, MEP, and HVAC consultants.
- Ensure all drawings are technically accurate and execution-friendly.
- Lead design detailing for bespoke furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, and luxury finishes.
- Conduct design reviews and suggest improvements for functionality, aesthetics, and execution feasibility.
- Ensure design intent is maintained throughout project execution.
- Guide junior designers in drawing standards, detailing, and technical documentation.
- Manage revisions, as-built drawings, and final design documentation.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong experience in luxury residential interior design projects.
- Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, construction techniques, and site execution.
- Expertise in reading and preparing detailed drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong leadership, team management, and coordination skills.
- Good understanding of budgeting, project scheduling, and vendor management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling abilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other relevant design software.
- Ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making capability under project deadlines.
