Ithis Hospital is looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Electrician to join our Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure the safe and uninterrupted operation of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in lighting, power distribution, panels, and wiring.
- Maintain generators, UPS systems, electrical control panels, and backup power systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
- Maintain maintenance records, service logs, and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with other maintenance staff and external contractors when required.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with hospital policies.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrician
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Maintenance Electrician, preferably in a hospital, healthcare facility, commercial building, or industrial environment.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot electrical faults.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts and attend emergency breakdowns.
