We are looking for a Content & Social Media Executive who can manage website content, social media channels, market updates, blogs, podcasts, and digital communication activities while helping strengthen GreyOak's brand presence.
Position Objective
The Content & Social Media Executive will be responsible for managing GreyOak's content and communication activities across the website, blogs, social media channels, podcasts, newsletters, and future branding initiatives.
The role requires strong writing skills, content management capabilities, creativity, attention to detail, and an interest in financial markets, technology, and business.
Key ResponsibilitiesWebsite Content & Market Communication
- Publish and manage daily Market Pulse updates.
- Maintain website content including product pages, blogs, FAQs, glossary content, educational content, and research communication.
- Ensure all website content remains accurate, updated, and aligned with company messaging.
- Support product launches, feature announcements, and platform updates through content creation.
Content Writing & Publishing
- Write and edit content for LinkedIn, X (Twitter), blogs, newsletters, website updates, educational content, and marketing campaigns.
- Convert research outputs, market observations, and product developments into clear and engaging content.
- Maintain consistency in communication, tone, and brand positioning across all channels.
- Assist in developing educational content related to markets, investing, trading, and GreyOak products.
Social Media Management
- Manage company accounts across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and future social platforms.
- Create and maintain content calendars and publishing schedules.
- Monitor engagement, comments, and audience interactions.
- Assist in growing GreyOak's digital presence through consistent content execution.
Podcast & Multimedia Support
- Assist in podcast planning, guest research, topic preparation, and interview question development.
- Repurpose podcast content into articles, social media posts, reels, clips, and YouTube content.
- Perform basic video editing using CapCut, Filmora, Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar tools.
- Create basic thumbnails, banners, and social media creatives.
Brand & Community Support
- Support branding initiatives, community engagement activities, and future partnership efforts.
- Coordinate with founders, researchers, developers, and designers to ensure timely content execution.
- Track content performance and recommend improvements where appropriate.
Required Skills
- Strong English writing and communication skills.
- Experience creating content for websites, blogs, LinkedIn, social media, or newsletters.
- Working knowledge of LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, or similar platforms.
- Basic Canva, graphic design, or content creation skills.
- Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Filmora, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Mass Media, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in Content Writing, Content Marketing, Social Media Management, Brand Communication, Journalism, Media, Fintech, or Digital Marketing.
- Experience working with startups, media companies, fintech businesses, or research organizations will be preferred.
- Interest in stock markets, investing, trading, business, technology, or financial markets.
