Legal Executive- Pharmaceutical Distribution
Job Summary:
The Legal Executive will support the organization in managing legal, regulatory, and compliance matters specific to the pharmaceutical industry. The role involves contract management, regulatory compliance, litigation support, and ensuring adherence to applicable healthcare laws and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including:
- Vendor and supplier contracts
- Distribution and licensing agreements
- Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
- Clinical trial agreements
- Drafting and reviewing distribution, stockist, and supply agreements
- Ensuring compliance with Drugs & Cosmetics Act, Drug Price Control Order (DPCO), GST laws, and other applicable regulations
- Verifying and maintaining drug licenses of distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
- Handling third-party logistics (3PL) agreements and transportation contracts
- Monitoring compliance related to storage, handling, and movement of medicines
- Reviewing invoices, pricing structures, and trade margins in line with legal norms
- Managing regulatory inspections and responding to notices from authorities
- Handling disputes related to supply chain, payments, or contractual breaches
- Maintaining proper legal documentation and audit records
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of pharma distribution laws and compliance
- Contract drafting and vendor management
- Knowledge of pricing regulations (DPCO) and GST
- Risk assessment and documentation skills
- Good coordination with sales, supply chain, and regulatory teams
Qualification:
- LLB (mandatory)
- Experience in pharma distribution / healthcare legal compliance preferred
Experience:
- 2–5 years in pharma, FMCG distribution, or healthcare legal roles
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
