Qualification:

Regular /Full Time Master’s degree in Visual Communication/Electronic Media/ Mass Communication & Journalism with one of the qualification (M.Phil/NET/SET/Ph.D)

Min 2 years of work experience as Teaching Faculty in Viscom Department
-
Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken

Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and foster an inclusive classroom environment.

Passion for teaching and a student-centered approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Responsibilities
Teaching:

Conducting lectures, seminars, and practical sessions for undergraduate or postgraduate students in visual communication.

Developing and delivering course content in areas such as graphic design, multimedia, animation, film studies, and related subjects.

Providing guidance and support to students on academic and career-related matters.
Curriculum Development:

Contributing to the development and review of the visual communication curriculum.

Updating course materials to align with industry trends and technological advancements.

Introducing innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
Research:

Engaging in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and presentations in relevant fields.

Keeping up-to-date with advancements in visual communication, design, and media studies.
Student Advising:

Advising students on academic and career choices within the visual communication field.

Providing mentorship and guidance on academic projects, research, and career development.
Professional Development:

Pursuing professional development opportunities to stay current with industry practices and educational methodologies.

Attending conferences, workshops, and seminars to enhance expertise and network with professionals in the field.
Administrative Duties:

Participating in departmental meetings, committees, and academic governance.

Assisting in the assessment and evaluation of student performance.
