About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Manager – Business Development to join our Kolkata office. This role is responsible for supporting business development initiatives, coordinating sales operations, managing client relationships, and assisting with the growth of our business network across West Bengal.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with experience in managing teams and working with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support business development and sales operations across assigned regions.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, channel partners, and business associates.
- Respond to business enquiries received through marketing campaigns, website, email, and other communication channels.
- Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure timely follow-up on leads.
- Supervise field sales executives and monitor day-to-day sales activities.
- Prepare sales reports, performance summaries, and business updates for management.
- Present the company's event management, digital marketing, and business solutions to prospective clients.
- Conduct client meetings, business presentations, and partner discussions when required.
- Maintain effective communication between management, sales teams, and business partners.
- Assist in achieving departmental business objectives while maintaining high professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales Operations, Sales Management, or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience leading or coordinating sales teams is preferred.
- Ability to prepare reports and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel within West Bengal as required for business meetings.
