Job Opening: Deputy General Manager (DGM) – ELV Technology
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy General Manager (DGM) to lead and oversee our ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Systems business operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing project execution, ensuring operational excellence, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality ELV solutions.
The candidate should possess strong leadership skills, sound technical knowledge of ELV systems, and proven experience in handling large-scale commercial, industrial, government, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve company growth objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities in Government, Corporate, Airport, Healthcare, Educational, Hospitality, and Industrial sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and system integrators.
- Lead tendering, proposal preparation, and contract negotiations.
- Achieve annual sales and revenue targets.
Operations & Project Management
- Oversee end-to-end execution of ELV projects from design to commissioning.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Monitor project schedules, resource planning, procurement, and cost control.
- Resolve operational challenges and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Review project profitability and implement corrective actions where required.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical guidance for ELV system design and implementation.
- Supervise engineering teams for design validation and technical approvals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and statutory regulations.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, Sales Managers, Engineers, and Technical Teams.
- Conduct performance reviews and establish departmental KPIs.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support employee development through coaching and training initiatives.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Prepare annual budgets and monitor departmental financial performance.
- Control project costs and maximize profitability.
- Review quotations, BOQs, commercial proposals, and vendor negotiations.
- Ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and financial reporting.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Monitor project documentation and quality assurance processes.
- Maintain adherence to contractual obligations and legal compliance.
ELV Systems Knowledge
The candidate should have experience in one or more of the following systems:

- Public Address & Voice Evacuation Systems
- Structured Cabling Systems
- Networking & Wi-Fi Infrastructure

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA in Operations, Marketing, or Project Management is preferred..
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the ELV industry.
- At least 5 years in a senior management or leadership role.
Proven experience in managing multiple large-scale ELV projects and business operations.
Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per year
