Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced EHS Safety Supervisor for construction projects to ensure strict implementation of safety standards at site. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, minimizing risks, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations during project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce site safety policies and procedures as per project requirements
- Conduct daily site safety inspections (scaffolding, work at height, lifting operations, excavation, etc.)
- Identify hazards and perform risk assessments (HIRA/JSA)
- Ensure compliance with construction safety standards and statutory regulations
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions
- Monitor proper usage of PPE (helmet, harness, gloves, safety shoes, etc.)
- Supervise high-risk activities like hot work, confined space, lifting operations, and work at height
- Investigate incidents/accidents/near misses and submit reports
- Maintain all safety documentation, permits, and records
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and workers for safety compliance
- Ensure availability and maintenance of fire safety and emergency equipment
- Conduct mock drills and ensure emergency preparedness
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Safety Management
- Diploma in The Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS)
- 2–7 years of experience in construction/site safety
- Strong knowledge of construction hazards and safety practices
- Familiarity with permit-to-work system (PTW)
