Leadership Hiring | Production Manager – Winery Operations | Kanpur
Currently engaging with experienced manufacturing and operations leaders for a Production Manager role at Kanpur Winery.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity with end-to-end ownership of winery production, operations, inventory management, manpower planning, compliance, dispatch coordination, and operational excellence, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and seamless winery operations.
Role Highlights
- Lead overall winery production, bottling, storage, and dispatch operations
- Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to achieve production targets
- Manage inventory control, stock reconciliation, raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and finished goods inventory
- Supervise manpower planning, shift management, attendance, productivity, and workforce discipline
- Ensure compliance with Excise, FSSAI, Factory Act, Pollution Control Board, environmental, safety, and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, Sales, and Logistics teams for smooth operations
- Oversee ETP operations and ensure adherence to environmental standards
- Monitor production efficiency, minimise losses and wastage, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilisation of plant, machinery, and utilities
- Lead dispatch planning and execution as per sales requirements and ensure timely documentation
- Maintain operational records and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management
- Act as the key link between management and winery operations, ensuring effective implementation of business objectives
Required Mandate
- Proven experience in Production, Plant Operations, Winery Operations, Beverage Manufacturing, FMCG, Food Processing, Brewery, Distillery, or related industries
- Strong expertise in production planning, inventory management, dispatch operations, and manpower management
- Experience in handling statutory compliance, operational reporting, and plant administration
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional coordination across production, quality, maintenance, procurement, sales, and logistics teams
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience in driving productivity improvement, operational efficiency, and process excellence
- Ability to independently manage plant operations and deliver business objectives
