JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CSE PROFESSOR
Position: Professor
Department: Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) / CSE Allied

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and accomplished Professor to join the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and CSE Allied disciplines. The selected candidate will be responsible for academic leadership, teaching, research, student mentoring, faculty development, and departmental administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lectures and laboratory sessions for B.Tech students.
- Develop and implement course plans, lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
- Ensure timely completion of the prescribed syllabus and effective academic delivery.
- Guide and mentor students in academic activities, internships, mini projects, and major projects.
- Provide academic and career guidance to students.
- Conduct examinations, assessments, and maintain academic records.
- Lead and promote research activities within the department.
- Publish research papers in reputed national and international journals/conferences.
- Develop research proposals and pursue funded research projects, consultancy, patents, and industry collaborations.
- Mentor and guide faculty members in teaching and research activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic quality improvement.
- Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, FDPs, conferences, and technical events.
- Support departmental planning, academic administration, and institutional development.
- Contribute to NBA, NAAC, IQAC, university, and other accreditation-related activities.
- Establish and strengthen industry-academic collaborations.
- Participate in departmental and institutional committees as assigned.
- Undertake any other academic or administrative responsibilities assigned by the HOD / Principal / Management.

Educational Qualification
- Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / relevant discipline from a recognized university/institution.
- M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent qualification in the relevant discipline.
- Relevant academic and research experience as applicable to the position.
- Eligibility and experience as per prevailing AICTE/UGC and affiliating university norms.
Preferred Profile
- Strong academic and research credentials.
- Demonstrated record of research publications in reputed journals/conferences.
- Experience in funded research projects, consultancy, patents, or industry collaboration will be an advantage.
- Experience in academic administration and departmental leadership.
- Knowledge of Outcome-Based Education, NBA/NAAC processes, and academic quality assurance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
