ROLE OVERVIEW
We are hiring a Docker / Kubernetes & Linux Administrator to own our container platform, automate deployments, and maintain our Linux server estate. You will be the infrastructure backbone of the engineering team ensuring services are deployed reliably, environments are hardened, and pipelines run without friction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer and optimise Kubernetes clusters — nodes, namespaces, RBAC, resource quotas, and upgrades
- Manage Docker images, registries, multi-stage builds, and container lifecycle across all environments
- Automate deployment workflows using CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions)
- Administer Linux servers — OS patching, user management, cron jobs, performance monitoring, and hardening
- Implement and maintain container security — image scanning, network policies, pod security, secrets management
- Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and coordinate with development teams on environment issues
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, runbooks, and deployment playbooks
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux administration and container technologies
- Strong Kubernetes expertise kubectl, Helm charts, deployments, services, ingress, ConfigMaps, PVCs
- Solid Docker skills Dockerfile authoring, Docker Compose, private registry management
- Proven CI/CD pipeline experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent tools
- Proficiency in Linux (RHEL / CentOS / Ubuntu) shell scripting, systemd, networking, storage
- Working knowledge of container security vulnerability scanning, RBAC, secrets management, network policies
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools — Terraform, Ansible, or Helm
- Exposure to cloud platforms — Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability stacks — Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Loki
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
