Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage the company's day-to-day accounting and finance operations, along with payroll, administration, stores/inventory coordination, vendor management, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate should have experience in a manufacturing, interior, modular furniture, construction, or project-based company and should be capable of managing accounts with minimum supervision.
Key Responsibilities1. Accounts & Finance
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping.
- Handle purchase, sales, expense, receipt, and payment entries.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and verify invoices, purchase bills, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Maintain cash, bank, and ledger accounts.
- Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Track customer outstanding payments and vendor outstanding balances.
- Monitor company expenses and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist in monthly closing and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with CA/auditors for GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
2. Payroll
- Manage monthly payroll processing.
- Verify attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, and salary advances.
- Coordinate with HR for monthly salary inputs.
- Maintain employee salary and payroll records.
- Prepare salary statements and payroll-related reports.
3. Stores & Inventory
- Coordinate with the Stores and Production teams regarding inventory.
- Monitor material purchases, inward/outward movements, consumption, and closing stock.
- Verify purchase invoices against material receipts.
- Maintain proper documentation for material purchases and stock movements.
- Conduct periodic stock reconciliation.
- Identify and report stock discrepancies to management.
4. Administration
- Handle day-to-day administrative and financial coordination.
- Maintain company records, bills, agreements, licenses, and important documents.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and external agencies.
- Monitor recurring administrative expenses and payments.
- Support management in operational and financial matters.
5. MIS & Management Reporting
- Prepare monthly and periodic MIS reports.
- Prepare reports related to sales, purchases, expenses, receivables, payables, payroll, and inventory.
- Track project-wise or department-wise expenses where required.
- Highlight discrepancies, pending payments, and unusual expenses to management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in payroll processing.
- Good understanding of inventory and purchase accounting.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Ability to independently manage accounting operations.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
