We are seeking a compassionate, responsible, and dedicated Nurse to join our children’s home / orphanage team. This is a meaningful opportunity to care for and support children of all ages in a loving residential environment.
Position: Nurse
Location: Alex Agape Home. Karicode, Kollam
Employment Type: Full-Time / Residential
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily healthcare support and basic medical care for children
- Monitor children’s health, hygiene, nutrition, and medication schedules
- Respond to illnesses, injuries, and emergencies appropriately
- Maintain medical records and health reports
- Coordinate doctor visits, vaccinations, and follow-up care
- Support children’s emotional well-being with patience and compassion
- Educate children and staff on hygiene and health practices
- Work closely with caregivers and management to ensure a safe, healthy environment
Requirements:
- Nursing qualification (ANM / GNM / BSc Nursing or equivalent)
- Valid nursing registration/certification preferred
- Freshers are welcome to apply
- Prior pediatric, community, or residential care experience is an advantage
- Compassionate heart for children and strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to handle medical needs calmly and professionally
- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Experience working with children
- Basic first aid and emergency response skills
- Willingness to serve in a child-centered environment
