- Client Coordination & Relationship Management: Schedule and coordinate client meetings with SME/business owners; prepare pre-meeting briefings on client financial goals, previous discussions, and pending action items; serve as first point of contact for client inquiries
- Financial Documentation & Presentation Support: Prepare client proposals and presentations on education funding, marriage planning, vacation budgets, retirement strategies, and tax-saving instruments; maintain confidential client financial records and track implementation progress
- Research & Product Analysis: Research financial products (mutual funds, insurance, tax-saving options, investment schemes) for client recommendations; stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and wealth management best practices
- Executive Support & Calendar Management: Manage Head's calendar, prioritize meetings, handle email correspondence; coordinate travel for client visits and industry events; prepare expense reports and budget tracking
- Follow-up & Implementation Tracking: Send post-meeting follow-ups to clients; track milestones (education deadlines, marriage dates, tax filing dates); coordinate with external advisors (CAs, tax consultants, legal teams); maintain CRM and client pipeline reports
Key Skills Required
- Finance Knowledge: Understanding of financial planning concepts (SIP, mutual funds, insurance, tax planning, retirement planning); ability to comprehend client financial goals and investment discussions
- Communication: Professional communication with high-net-worth clients; ability to explain financial concepts clearly; strong written and verbal English
- Organization & Detail Orientation: Meticulous tracking of client timelines, follow-ups, and documentation; ability to manage multiple client cases simultaneously without dropping balls
- Tech Proficiency: Advanced Excel (financial calculations, data analysis); PowerPoint (client presentations); CRM systems; MS Office suite
- Confidentiality & Professionalism: Handle sensitive financial information with discretion; maintain client trust and privacy at all times
Must-Haves (Non-Negotiables)
- Education: BCom/MCom, BBA (Finance), MBA (Finance), or CA Foundation/Inter/Final (cleared or pursuing). Finance background is mandatory—non-finance candidates will not be considered.
- Experience: 1-3 years in financial services (wealth management, insurance, banking, mutual funds) or as EA/associate in financial advisory firms. Prior client-facing experience in finance preferred.
- Finance Domain Knowledge: Must understand investment products, tax-saving instruments, insurance types, and basic financial planning terminology. Can't just be good at scheduling—you need to understand what's being discussed.
- Client Maturity: Comfortable interacting with SME owners and business leaders; professional demeanor; ability to build rapport with high-net-worth clients
- Proactive & Self-Starter: Anticipate needs before being asked; take ownership of tasks; follow through without constant supervision
- Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Bhubaneswar (full-time in-office; remote/hybrid not available)
