About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and professional Chef specializing in Chinese, Korean, and Asian Fusion cuisine to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of authentic cooking techniques, sauces, marinades, noodles, rice dishes, momos, ramen, starters, and fusion preparations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality Chinese, Korean, and Asian-fusion dishes according to standardized recipes.
- Develop and maintain consistent taste, presentation, portion size, and food quality.
- Prepare dishes such as noodles, fried rice, momos, ramen, Korean fried chicken, Korean fries, Manchurian, chilli dishes, and fusion starters.
- Prepare and manage Korean and Chinese sauces, seasonings, marinades, and base gravies.
- Maintain proper food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Control food wastage and maintain proper portion and ingredient usage.
- Manage daily kitchen preparation and ensure orders are completed on time.
- Maintain consistency during high-volume order periods.
- Assist in menu development and creation of signature dishes.
- Monitor stock, ingredients, and kitchen requirements.
- Train and supervise kitchen helpers when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of professional kitchen experience.
- Strong experience in Chinese and/or Korean cuisine.
- Knowledge of Asian-fusion cooking will be an advantage.
- Ability to prepare food quickly while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene.
- Ability to work independently and manage kitchen operations.
- Candidates from North-East India or with strong Korean/Chinese cuisine experience are welcome to apply.
- Experience in cloud kitchens, QSRs, restaurants, or food delivery businesses is preferred.
