Job Scope - The Senior Purchase & Store Executive is responsible for end-to-end procurement and store operations for airport lounges, F&B outlets, and staff canteen. The role ensures timely sourcing of materials, accurate inventory management, compliance with airport and food safety standards, and uninterrupted operational support. The position coordinates closely with Operations, Finance, Vendors, and Airport Authorities to maintain cost control, stock accuracy, and service continuity.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Plan and execute procurement for lounges, F&B outlets, and canteen operations.
- Raise Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) as per approvals and budgets.
- Coordinate with approved vendors for quotations, negotiations, and timely deliveries.
- Follow up on pending orders and resolve supply-related issues.
2. Store Operations & Inventory Management
- Receive materials, verify quantity and quality, and prepare GRNs.
- Maintain accurate stock records in system and physical registers.
- Issue materials to lounges, outlets, and canteen as per approved indents.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices, especially for perishable items.
3. Stock Control & Audits
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock checks.
- Participate in physical stock audits and investigate variances.
- Control wastage, pilferage, and expiry losses.
4. Compliance & Quality Standards
- Ensure adherence to FSSAI, hygiene, food safety, and storage norms.
- Follow airport security procedures and operational SOPs.
- Maintain all procurement and store-related documentation for audits.
5. Coordination with Internal Teams
- Coordinate with Lounge, F&B, and Canteen Operations teams for demand planning.
- Liaise with Finance for GRN matching, billing, and vendor payments.
- Support operations during peak hours and emergency requirements.
6. Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on stock, consumption, and procurement.
- Share variance reports and cost-control insights with management.
7. Asset & Equipment Handling (if applicable)
- Maintain records of store equipment, utensils, and consumables.
- Ensure proper handover and accountability of issued items.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Hotel Management
· 2–4 years of experience in Purchase & Stores (Airport / Hospitality / F&B preferred)
· Knowledge of inventory management systems and Excel
· Familiarity with airport operations and compliance norms
· Strong coordination, follow-up, and organizational skills
