Role Overview
The Senior Telemarketing Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end student inquiries, tele-counseling, and admissions conversion for Jain Online programs. This role requires excellent communication skills, sales aptitude, and a deep understanding of the online education ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound and inbound calls to prospective students interested in Jain Online programs.
- Provide accurate counseling regarding program options, eligibility, fee structure, and career benefits.
- Follow up on leads generated through digital campaigns, online forms, and social media.
- Maintain and update CRM databases with call logs, inquiries, and conversion status.
- Coordinate with the admissions and documentation team to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Achieve and exceed monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Offer mentorship to junior telecallers and ensure adherence to process quality.
- Represent Jain Online with professionalism and maintain strong brand communication.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent verbal communication and persuasive selling skills in Hindi and English (regional language preferred).
- Strong ability to build rapport and close admissions over calls.
- Proven experience in telemarketing, counseling, or student support roles.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and lead tracking tools.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of handling pressure.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in telemarketing, preferably in online education, edtech, or higher education counseling.
- Candidates with prior experience in UGC-approved online degree programs will be given preference.
