Job Title: Sales Executive (NVOCC Industry)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our team in Mumbai. The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales and achieving revenue targets within the Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the logistics and shipping industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities by prospecting and cold calling potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, including shippers, consignees, freight forwarders, and other industry stakeholders.
- Present and promote our services to clients, including our online software and explaining the value proposition and differentiating features of our NVOCC solutions.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate rates and terms of agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipments and timely delivery of services to clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and expand business connections.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and achievements to the sales manager.
Requirements:
- 70% and above scores in 10th and 12th academic years.
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Strong understanding of the logistics and shipping industry, including knowledge of NVOCC operations and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong drive for achieving sales targets and delivering results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Willingness to travel occasionally outside the city for client meetings and industry events.
- Fluency in English and local language(s) is required.
