We are seeking a highly seasoned Plant Head with 15 to 20 years of specialized experience in cold chain management and Individual Quick Freezing (IQF) technology for fruits and vegetables. You will oversee all factory operations, ensure strict quality standards, optimize production efficiency, and maintain an uninterrupted sub-zero supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Production Management: Oversee high-capacity IQF processing lines for diverse fruits and vegetables.Cold Chain Integrity: Maintain absolute temperature control from raw material intake to final sub-zero storage.Technical Oversight: Manage specialized IQF tunnels, fluid bed freezers, and industrial ammonia/freon refrigeration systems.
Quality & Compliance: Guarantee strict adherence to global food safety standards including HACCP, BRCGS, and ISO 22000.Cost Control: Optimize energy consumption, reduce raw material wastage, and manage the annual operational budget (OpEx).
Team Leadership: Direct plant engineers, production supervisors, and QC teams to meet daily yield targets safely.
Required Qualifications & Experience: 15 to 20 years in food processing plants, with a mandatory focus on IQF fruits and vegetables.
Education: Master’s degree in food Technology
Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of pre-treatment processes (sorting, washing, blanching, chilling) specific to produce.
Machinery Knowledge: Hands-on familiarity with major IQF equipment brands (e.g., OctoFrost, Frigoscandia/JBT, or Starfrost).Logistics Skill: Proven track record managing large-scale sub-zero cold storage facilities (-18°C to -25°C).
Quickly troubleshoots mechanical bottlenecks during peak seasonal harvests.
