Primary Role
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Marketing Executive / Business Development Executive with a strong background in Electrical Engineering and Rail Signalling. The candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing client relationships, supporting tendering activities, and promoting the company's products and services in the railway, metro, and transportation sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in railway, metro, signalling, and electrical infrastructure projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with railway authorities, metro corporations, consultants, contractors, and OEMs.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
- Lead or co-ordinate the end-to-end preparation of bid and tender submissions, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams during tender submissions.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, client discussions, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Track upcoming tenders and business opportunities from railway and government organizations.
- Negotiate contracts and support commercial discussions with clients.
· Analyse tender outcomes, win/loss data, and client feedback to continuously improve proposal quality and positioning.
· Ensure all proposals reflect the organisation's brand standards, quality requirements, and ethical obligations.
- Achieve sales targets and business growth objectives.
Maintain CRM records and prepare periodic business development reports.
Required Qualification:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Rail Signalling, Railway Electrification, Metro Projects, Transportation Systems, or related sectors.
- Knowledge of railway signalling systems such as Interlocking, ATP, ETCS, CBTC, Axle Counters, Track Circuits, and associated electrical systems.
- Understanding of government tendering processes and railway procurement procedures.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and proposal preparation.
Pay: ₹9,853.27 - ₹33,801.82 per month
