1. Core Purpose
To build strong foundational literacy, numeracy and social-emotional skills through play-based, experiential learning as per NEP 2020 guidelines.
2. Key Responsibilities
a. Curriculum & Teaching-
-Plan weekly lesson plans aligned with CBSE Foundational Stage, NEP 2020 and school
-Use play, storytelling, rhymes, art-craft and manipulatives to teach alphabets, numbers, EVS concepts
-Conduct theme-based activities, show & tell, role play and celebrations
-Focus on school readiness: pencil grip, fine motor skills, listening, speaking, basic math
b. Classroom & Child Management-
-Maintain a vibrant, safe classroom with activity corners
-Follow daily routine: prayer, circle time, activities, snack, outdoor play, nap for Nursery/LKG/UKG
-Ensure personal hygiene, washroom habits and self-help skills for children
-Manage behaviour with positive reinforcement, not punishment
c. Assessment & Documentation
-Maintain daily observation records and term-wise report cards as per CBSE format
-Conduct PTMs and share feedback on child’s progress, strengths, areas to work on
-Keep portfolios of children’s work - worksheets, art, craft, photos
-Complete homework diaries and attendance records daily
d. Good Parent Communication
3. Qualifications Required:
-NTT / D.Ed / B.Ed with ECCE/Pre-primary specialization
-Minimum 1 year experience in CBSE preschool preferred
-Fluent English + Hindi/Bengali
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
