Key Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on development experience using:
- PHP
- MySQL
- HTML5 / CSS3
- JavaScript
- jQuery
- Strong working knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) and eCommerce platforms, specifically:
- OpenCart
- WordPress
- Magento
- Basic understanding and experience working with:
- XML
- JSON
- Proficiency in using the Linux command line environment, particularly CentOS servers.
- Previous experience working with:
- Creative agencies
- Design studios
- Marketing teams or departments
- will be considered an advantage.
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Hand-coded HTML/XHTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- DOM (Document Object Model)
- Strong experience building:
- Standards-compliant websites
- CSS-driven and responsive layouts
- Table-less website structures
- Familiarity with JavaScript libraries and UI frameworks, including implementation of:
- AJAX-based functionality
- Interactive front-end components
- Ability to accurately convert visual designs (PSD/AI/Figma/mockups) into fully functional HTML pages while maintaining strict adherence to design specifications.
- Solid understanding of:
- Responsive web design
- Media queries
- Mobile-first development
- CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap
- Experience ensuring:
- Cross-browser compatibility
- Responsive performance across devices
- Debugging and troubleshooting front-end issues
- General technical understanding of:
- Web hosting environments
