Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and academically accomplished Associate Professor in Occupational Therapy to contribute to teaching, clinical education, research, student mentoring, and departmental academic activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, practicals, tutorials, and clinical training.
- Supervise clinical postings and practical training of students.
- Develop and review course content, lesson plans, and assessment methods.
- Mentor students and guide academic projects and research activities.
- Guide student dissertations and research projects, as applicable.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research.
- Publish research papers in reputed journals.
- Participate in conferences, seminars, workshops, and professional activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic planning.
- Mentor and support junior faculty members.
- Participate in departmental committees and institutional academic activities.
- Maintain academic and departmental documentation.
- Support accreditation and regulatory compliance activities.
- Follow applicable NCAHP and University norms.
Eligibility
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 55% marks/equivalent, as applicable.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Assistant Professor, preferably including at least 2 years as Senior Assistant Professor.
- Ph.D. in an appropriate Occupational Therapy discipline – Mandatory.
- 2 Conference Presentation and 3 publications as Assistant Professor Senior.
