Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and creative Freelance Video Editor who can create engaging, professional, and platform-ready video content for social media, digital campaigns, brands, and promotional projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
- Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, campaign videos, and corporate content.
- Add transitions, subtitles, captions, motion graphics, sound effects, music, and visual effects as required.
- Ensure videos maintain strong storytelling, pacing, and visual quality.
- Edit content according to brand guidelines and project requirements.
- Coordinate with the content and social media teams to understand creative requirements.
- Make revisions based on feedback and deliver projects within agreed timelines.
- Maintain consistency in video quality, formatting, and branding across projects.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar editing software.
- Good understanding of video composition, transitions, color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics.
- Knowledge of current social media video trends.
- Strong sense of creativity, storytelling, timing, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Portfolio/showreel is required.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in digital marketing agencies, social media content, advertising, branding, or campaign videos will be preferred.
- Experience creating high-performing Reels/Shorts will be an added advantage.
