- Assist patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Help patients with toileting and maintaining cleanliness.
- Support feeding and ensure adequate hydration as instructed.
- Assist with walking, transfers, positioning, and mobility exercises.
- Monitor and record temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation (if trained).
- Administer basic care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Remind patients to take medications as prescribed (without independently administering medications unless authorized).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for the patient.
- Change bed linen and assist in preventing bed sores through regular repositioning.
- Observe and promptly report any changes in the patient's condition to the supervising nurse or care coordinator.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality protocols.
- Maintain accurate daily care records and reports.
