Job Description:
A Warehouse Worker is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing products within a warehouse environment. They ensure inventory is handled accurately, safely, and efficiently to support business operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (if certified).
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct stock counts.
- Label, sort, and move products throughout the warehouse.
- Ensure workplace safety by following company policies and procedures.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Report damaged products, equipment issues, or inventory discrepancies.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (typically up to 50 lbs/23 kg).
- Basic math and inventory management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Experience in warehouse operations is an asset but not always required.
Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
