Job Description – Draftsman (Civil) Position: Draftsman (Civil) Company: RNT Builders Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary RNT Builders is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to prepare accurate architectural and structural drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. The candidate should be proficient in drafting software and capable of coordinating with engineers, architects, and site teams. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings based on project requirements. Create architectural, structural, and working drawings. Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details. Revise and update drawings as per engineer and client requirements. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site engineers for drawing modifications. Maintain drawing records and document control. Ensure drawings comply with applicable standards and regulations. Assist in quantity estimation and preparation of as-built drawings. Requirements Diploma / ITI / Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. Minimum 0–3 years of experience as a Civil Draftsman. Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory). Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D software is an added advantage. Understanding of construction methods and building standards. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills Experience in residential villa and commercial building projects. Ability to prepare bar bending schedules and quantity take-offs. Knowledge of local building approval drawings.
