Team Leader – E-commerce / Marketplace Operations

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to manage and lead a team of 20 members in our E-commerce/Marketplace department. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in managing marketplace operations, and the ability to drive team performance while ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 20 team members.
- Monitor daily team performance and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
- Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure timely completion of work.
- Handle team escalations and resolve operational issues efficiently.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team efficiency and service quality.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth business operations.
- Maintain SOPs and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Train new employees and support ongoing skill development for the team.
- Motivate team members and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in E-commerce or Marketplace Operations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading a team of 15–20 members.
- Strong understanding of marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, Ajio, Shopify, or similar platforms.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in KPI tracking, reporting, and performance management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling seller accounts, catalog management, inventory, order processing, pricing, and marketplace performance.
- Knowledge of marketplace policies, advertising, and operational workflows.
- Experience in process improvement and team performance optimization.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
