Job Summary:
Intellect Aqua Private Limited is seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement activities for Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, STP, ETP, WTP, RO, MEP, and Renewable Energy Projects. The candidate will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost optimization, timely procurement, and inventory coordination to ensure uninterrupted project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Sourcing
- Plan and manage procurement activities for project and operational requirements.
Source materials, equipment, chemicals, MEP items, pumps, motors, valves, pipes, electrical panels, instrumentation, and other project-related materials.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize purchase orders.
- Ensure timely procurement to meet project schedules.
Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain a reliable vendor database.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery, and service.
- Build long-term relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable commercial terms.
Cost Control
- Optimize procurement costs without compromising quality.
- Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor budgets and procurement expenses.
Inventory & Coordination
- Coordinate with Projects, Design, Service, Stores, and Accounts departments regarding material requirements.
- Ensure proper inventory planning and avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Monitor material delivery schedules and resolve supply delays.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs), comparative statements, vendor evaluations, and procurement reports.
- Maintain procurement records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Team Management
Lead and guide the procurement team.
- Monitor procurement KPIs and improve purchasing efficiency.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
