Job Description: Quality In-Charge
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Quality Controller to monitor and ensure the quality of materials, fabrication works, and finished products in our prefabrication manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying defects, maintaining quality records, and ensuring products meet company standards before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials and verify quality requirements.
- Monitor production and fabrication activities to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Check dimensions, workmanship, and finishing of products.
- Identify defects and coordinate with production teams for corrective actions.
- Conduct quality checks at various stages of manufacturing.
- Perform final inspection before dispatch of finished products.
- Maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and specifications.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and rework.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Production Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Controller in manufacturing, steel fabrication, prefabrication, modular construction, or related industries.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good knowledge of quality inspection methods and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting.
