The Prodigies International School is seeking a passionate and energetic Physical Educator (Cricket) to develop students' physical fitness, sportsmanship, and cricketing skills. The ideal candidate should be capable of coaching students across different age groups while promoting discipline, teamwork, and a healthy competitive spirit.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct cricket coaching sessions for students from Primary to Senior School.
- Develop age-appropriate training programs focusing on batting, bowling, fielding, fitness, and match strategies.
- Organize and supervise regular practice sessions, inter-house competitions, and tournaments.
- Prepare students for inter-school, district, state, and national-level cricket competitions.
- Assess students' performance and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all sports activities.
- Maintain cricket equipment, sports facilities, and inventory.
- Promote teamwork, leadership, discipline, and sportsmanship among students.
- Collaborate with school leadership to plan annual sports events and cricket-related activities.
- Maintain attendance, performance records, and tournament documentation.
- Support the school's overall physical education program and participate in school events when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Master's Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.).
- Certification in Cricket Coaching (preferred).
- Experience coaching school-level cricket teams is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of ICC rules, coaching methodologies, and fitness training.
- Excellent communication and student management skills.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Physical Educator or Cricket Coach in a school or sports academy.
- Experience in preparing students for competitive tournaments will be an added advantage.
