Job Title: Commis-1 (Multi-Cuisine Chef)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commis-1 (Multi-Cuisine Chef) to join our kitchen team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes across multiple cuisines while maintaining hygiene, consistency, and kitchen standards. The role also includes supporting senior chefs and supervising junior kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Handle assigned kitchen section independently
- Assist Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations
- Ensure food quality, taste, and portion control standards are maintained
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per food safety standards
- Monitor stock levels and inform seniors about shortages
- Minimize wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients
- Train and guide Commis-2 and Commis-3 staff
- Follow kitchen SOPs, safety, and sanitation policies
Skills & Requirements
- Good knowledge of multiple cuisines (Indian, Chinese, Continental, etc.)
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in multi-cuisine kitchen preferred
Working Conditions
- Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Standing for long hours in a hot kitchen environment
Salary Range
₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience and organization standards)

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
