Position Overview
Apollo Pharmacy is seeking dedicated and customer-oriented Pharmacy Assistants to support daily pharmacy operations and ensure a smooth customer experience. The role involves assisting pharmacists in dispensing medicines, managing inventory, handling billing activities, and maintaining operational standards within the store.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines accurately
- Support customers by providing information on healthcare products and directing them to the pharmacist for medical guidance when required
- Handle billing, cash transactions, and maintain accurate sales records
- Organize and replenish medicine stock on shelves as per company standards
- Monitor stock availability, expiry dates, and storage conditions to ensure product quality and compliance
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper arrangement of medicines and healthcare products within the pharmacy
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing inventory deliveries
- Address customer queries professionally and ensure a positive in-store experience
- Follow all operational, safety, and regulatory guidelines applicable to pharmacy operations
- Support promotional activities, health camps, and wellness initiatives conducted by the organization
Eligibility Requirements
- 10+2 / Higher Secondary education; Diploma or certification in Pharmacy Assistance or Healthcare is preferred
- Freshers and candidates with up to 3 years of experience in retail pharmacy or healthcare operations may apply
- Prior experience in customer service or retail operations will be an added advantage
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of medicines and healthcare products
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused approach with a service-oriented mindset
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with billing systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
