Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager with strong multilingual communication skills (Tamil, Hindi, Marathi, English & Malayalam). The ideal candidate should have prior experience in product sales and preferably exposure to selling within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
The role involves driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and expanding market presence within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the assigned area.
- Promote and sell company products to manufacturing industries and other relevant sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and clients.
- Conduct regular market visits for competitor analysis, customer feedback, and lead generation.
- Develop area-specific sales strategies and implement them effectively.
- Ensure proper collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, and Production) to meet client requirements.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in product sales; experience in manufacturing/industrial sales will be an added advantage.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned area.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.
