Accountant Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Calculate production costs and analyze variances.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards.
Prepare and file sales tax, payroll tax, and other required returns.
Support audits by providing financial documentation and reports.
Coordinate with production, purchasing, and inventory departments to ensure accurate cost tracking.
Use accounting software and ERP systems to manage financial data.
