JOB OVERVIEWResponsible for medical management and patient care.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDaily Clinical rounds along with senior consultants of the patients admitted in Pediatric Department. Patients health status counseling to relatives.Verify the treatment plans of all patients and advice evidence based correction, as and when required post discussion with admitting physician consultant. Perform and document history & physical examinationDevelop and documents initial plan of careDocument daily progress notesObtain and document informed consentOrder appropriate investigations and interpret resultsOrder and administer appropriate medication and other investigations as requiredAudit and approve discharge summary given by DMO and get approval of consultant in the prescribed timeline to avoid delay in discharge delay. Update consultant (inhouse/VC) on call every morning on status of patient before shift change. Actively participate in training of nursing staff in the departmentImmediate response to code (e.g.: Code blue) announcements in the hospital Key Performance IndicatorsPatient care, medical management, documentation, training.Qualifications Qualification : MBBS + MD/DNB Experience : 0 to 3 years experience
