Key Responsibilities
Patient Registration & Appointment Management
- Register patients for radiology procedures such as X-Ray, CT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and other imaging services.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
- Verify patient details and maintain accurate records.
- Guide patients regarding appointment timings and departmental procedures.
Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain patient files, radiology records, and departmental registers.
- Ensure proper filing and retrieval of reports and imaging records.
- Update information in the Hospital Information System (HIS), RIS, or other software.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and medical information.
Report & Billing Coordination
- Assist in the preparation, printing, and distribution of radiology reports.
- Coordinate with the billing department for procedure charges and payment verification.
- Ensure proper documentation for insurance and cashless patients.
- Maintain daily records of investigations and reports issued.
Communication & Coordination
- Attend telephone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Coordinate with doctors, technicians, nursing staff, and other departments.
- Inform patients about preparation requirements for imaging procedures.
- Facilitate smooth patient flow within the department.
Administrative Duties
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly departmental statistics as required.
- Maintain inventory records of office stationery and forms.
- Assist in audit, accreditation, and quality documentation activities.
- Perform other clerical and administrative duties assigned by the department head.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Diploma/Certificate in Computer Applications preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of clerical or administrative experience in a hospital/healthcare setting preferred.
- Experience in Radiology Department, HIS, RIS, or PACS systems will be an added advantage.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Good typing and data entry skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of hospital procedures and medical terminology.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in documentation.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
