Job Title: SST Teacher (Class 8 to 10)

Reports To: Principal / Academic Coordinator
Job Summary
The SST Teacher will be responsible for teaching Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) to students of Classes 8 to 10. The teacher will plan lessons, conduct assessments, maintain discipline, and ensure effective learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Social Science subjects to Classes 8, 9, and 10
Prepare daily lesson plans and complete syllabus on time
Use interactive teaching methods (maps, charts, activities)
Conduct class tests, unit tests, and help in examinations
Evaluate answer sheets and maintain records of students' performance
Give homework and update homework regularly
Maintain classroom discipline and positive learning environment
Help weak students through remedial classes
Prepare students for board examinations (Class 10)
Participate in school meetings, trainings, and academic planning
Maintain attendance and update school app (if applicable)
Required Skills
Good command over History, Geography, Civics & Economics
Strong classroom management skills
Good communication skills (Hindi & basic English)
Ability to explain concepts clearly
Basic computer knowledge preferred
Qualification
Graduate / Post Graduate in Social Science (History/Geography/Political Science)
B.Ed. preferred
Experience in teaching Classes 8–10 preferred
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
