Purchase & Costing Executive (Furniture Manufacturing & Procurement) Position Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase & Costing Executive to support procurement activities for our furniture manufacturing and interior projects. The role involves vendor coordination, quotation analysis, costing, material tracking, factory coordination, and ensuring efficient and cost-effective purchasing decisions. Candidates with experience in furniture manufacturing, interior materials, or factory procurement environments will be preferred. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Vendor Coordination Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs) Coordinate with vendors for quotations, pricing, deliveries, and follow-ups Negotiate pricing and commercial terms where required Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project and factory requirements Maintain purchase records, costing sheets, and vendor databases Costing & Material Analysis Prepare detailed costing and comparative statements Evaluate product costing including GST, transport, freight, and other charges Calculate landed costs for accurate vendor comparison Compare quoted rates with market rates and identify cost-saving opportunities Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and billing accuracy Factory & Production Coordination Coordinate closely with factory teams and supervisors to ensure smooth material flow and procurement support Follow up on production-related material requirements and shortages Engage effectively with blue-collar staff, vendors, and site teams to improve coordination and efficiency Technical & Material Understanding Ability to read furniture/interior drawings and understand material specifications would be a strong advantage Ability to prepare basic material quantification/take-offs from drawings would be preferred Knowledge of plywood, veneers, laminates, hardware, glass, fittings, locks, and finishes preferred Required Skills Strong analytical and numerical skills Good knowledge of procurement and costing processes Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation systems Strong follow-up and coordination abilities Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines efficiently Qualification & Experience Graduate with 2–5 years of relevant experience. Experience in furniture manufacturing, interior projects, factory procurement, or related industries preferred. Compensation Expected salary range: ■30,000 – ■40,000 per month, depending on experience and technical capability
