Job Summary:
The OE Textile Fitter is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing Open End (OE) spinning machines and related equipment to ensure smooth production operations with minimum machine downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of OE machines.
- Attend machine complaints and rectify mechanical issues immediately.
- Ensure smooth running of spinning machines and production support.
- Replace damaged machine parts and maintain spare records.
- Check machine alignment, bearings, gears, belts, and lubrication systems.
- Monitor machine performance and reduce downtime.
- Coordinate with production and electrical teams during maintenance activities.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the maintenance area.
- Follow company SOPs and safety procedures.
- Update maintenance records and daily activity reports.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of OE spinning machine maintenance.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
- Ability to handle machine breakdown independently.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Problem-solving and time management skills.
Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in textile spinning industry preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
