Reconciliation Manager
Location: Kochi, Kerala

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Reconciliation Manager to lead and manage end-to-end reconciliation operations across banking partners, payment gateways, digital wallets, remittance transactions, settlement accounts, vendor accounts, safeguarding accounts, and internal ledgers. The ideal candidate will possess strong fintech and payments domain expertise, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, timely exception resolution, and robust financial controls in a high-volume transaction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of:
- Bank Accounts
- Payment Gateway Accounts
- Digital Wallets & E-Wallet Platforms
- Remittance & Cross-Border Transactions
- Settlement & Safeguarding Accounts
- Merchant & Agent Settlements
- Vendor Accounts
- Ensure reconciliations are completed within agreed SLAs.
- Monitor and resolve unreconciled items, aged breaks, and settlement variances.
- Perform transaction matching across multiple systems and payment channels.
Wallet & Payment Reconciliation
- Oversee reconciliation of customer wallets and digital payment products.
- Reconcile wallet balances with core transaction systems and banking partners.
- Monitor failed, pending, reversed, chargeback, and refund transactions.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of payment gateway settlements and payout cycles.
Exception Management
- Investigate reconciliation breaks, mismatches, failed transactions, chargebacks, refunds, and settlement discrepancies.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Financial Control & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain audit-ready reconciliation records and supporting documentation.
- Support internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- CA / CMA / ACCA / CPA / MBA Finance preferred.
- 6–10+ years of experience in Reconciliation, Finance Operations, Payments Operations, or Financial Control.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Fintech, Payments, Remittance, Digital Wallet, Money Transfer, or Banking organizations.
- Experience managing high-volume transaction environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
