Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor/Billing Engineer role based in Jharsuguda. The role involves preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), measurements, and cost estimates for ongoing and upcoming projects. Responsibilities include preparing and verifying running and final bills for clients and subcontractors, ensuring accurate quantities, rates, and supporting documentation. The professional will monitor project costs against budgets, track variations, and support cost control and value engineering initiatives. Day-to-day tasks also include maintaining detailed records of quantities and work progress, coordinating with project, site, and accounts teams, and assisting in tendering, rate analysis, and documentation as required.
Qualifications
- Strong cost management capabilities, including Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning.
- Hands-on experience with BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and measurement for civil engineering works.
- Ability to prepare and interpret Cost Reporting, including periodic cost statements and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in billing for clients and subcontractors, rate analysis, and basic contract administration.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and relevant standards and codes.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and quantity surveying/billing software or ERPs is an advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate with site teams, meet deadlines, and work on-site in Jharsuguda on a full-time basis.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
