We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Fresher Estimation Engineer to join our Heat Tracing team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent engineering graduates who are eager to build a career in the oil and gas industry.
The selected candidate will be trained to understand and interpret P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram) and Isometric Drawings, prepare material take-offs, and assist in estimating electric heat tracing systems for industrial pipeline projects.
Responsibilities
- Learn to read and interpret P&ID and isometric drawings.
- Assist in preparing material take-offs (MTOs) and quantity calculations.
- Support the estimation team in preparing project cost estimates and quotations.
- Review engineering drawings, project specifications, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering and sales teams to collect project information.
- Maintain estimation records and project documentation.
- Participate in technical training related to electric heat tracing systems and oil & gas pipeline projects.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings, P&ID, and isometric drawings is preferred.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Interest in the oil & gas, EPC, or industrial pipeline industry.
- Eagerness to develop technical and estimation skills.
