Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Process & Production Monitoring: Assist Shift In-charges in regulating unit operations, raw material charging, and process parameters (temperature, pressure, vacuum systems, flow rates).
- ZLD & ETP Plant Operations: Oversee the operations of high TDS/COD segregation, Multiple Effect Evaporators (MEE), Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants, and condensate treatment units to ensure absolute zero liquid discharge.
- Data Logging & Documentation: Maintain accurate, hourly log sheets for technical parameters, chemical consumption, and treated water recycling metrics for cooling tower make-up.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), chemical handling guidelines, and use critical PPEs. Monitor process interlocks and report any deviations or gas/liquid leakages immediately.
- Housekeeping & Maintenance Coordination: Maintain optimal shop-floor housekeeping (5S) and coordinate with mechanical/electrical maintenance teams during breakdowns or preventive shutdowns.
