Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer for Tendering & Design activities. The candidate will be responsible for preparing quotations, cost estimations, technical submissions, and design support for mechanical projects. Freshers with strong technical knowledge are also welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tenders, quotations, and techno-commercial proposals.
- Study client requirements, drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates, material take-off, and pricing sheets.
- Coordinate with vendors for pricing and technical details.
- Assist in preparing mechanical design drawings and layouts.
- Support project team during execution stage.
- Prepare documentation for tender submission.
- Follow up on submitted tenders and client queries.
- Ensure timely submission of tenders and proposals.
- Maintain tender records and project files.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC / Plumbing / Fire Fighting / Fabrication / Piping preferred).
- Good understanding of AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Revit (preferred).
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and costing sheets.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualification:
- BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Preferred Candidate:
- Freshers to 3 years experience in Tendering / Estimation / Design.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
Salary:
As per industry standards.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
