Role Overview
JD Institute of Fashion Technology is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Admission Counsellor responsible for guiding prospective students and parents through the admissions process. The role requires a candidate who can effectively manage leads, deliver quality counselling, build relationships, and drive admission conversions while ensuring excellent student experience.
The role combines counselling capability with strong ownership of lead management, CRM discipline, and admission target achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Management
- Handle and manage incoming student enquiries across channels
- Conduct proactive calling and lead engagement activities
- Ensure timely response to fresh leads
- Maintain strong and consistent follow-up with prospective students
- Prioritize high-intent and qualified leads
- Student Counselling & Guidance
- Conduct detailed counselling sessions for students and parents regarding:
- Courses
- Career opportunities
- Program structure
- Admission procedures
- Understand student requirements and provide suitable guidance
- Build trust and maintain a positive counselling experience
- Admissions Conversion
- Drive admission closures against assigned monthly targets
- Support students throughout the application process
- Ensure timely application submissions and documentation completion
- Improve conversion ratios through structured follow-ups
- CRM & Data Management
- Maintain accurate lead records in CRM
- Update call remarks and follow-up details after every interaction
- Ensure proper lead categorization and status management
- Maintain complete and accurate student data
- WhatsApp & Student Engagement

- Conduct re-engagement activities for inactive or old leads
- Maintain active communication with prospective students
- Walk-in & Admission Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate student walk-ins
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding interviews and admissions processes
- Ensure seamless student experience throughout the admission journey
- Reporting & Process Discipline
- Submit daily and weekly reports
- Participate in team meetings and reviews
- Maintain attendance, punctuality, and process adherence

Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience in Education, Admissions, Counselling, Customer Service, or Sales preferred
