Front Office Associate is responsible for creating a positive first impression by welcoming guests and visitors, handling check-in and check-out procedures, managing reservations, responding to guest inquiries, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and visitors with a warm, professional, and courteous attitude.
- Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Handle room reservations, cancellations, modifications, and confirmations.
- Answer telephone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Provide information regarding hotel facilities, services, local attractions, and transportation.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback, ensuring timely resolution or escalation when required.
- Process guest payments, maintain accurate billing records, and manage cash and card transactions.
- Maintain guest records and update information in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Ensure the front desk, lobby, and reception area remain clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Prepare daily reports, occupancy reports, and shift handover reports.
- Follow hotel policies, SOPs, and safety/security procedures.
- Promote hotel services, loyalty programs, and upsell rooms or additional services whenever possible.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and company records.
- Assist with any additional duties assigned by the Front Office Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Front Office, Reception, or Guest Relations (Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply).
- Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
